Brian was born in Tokyo, Japan, but spent K-12 in Athens, Greece, Livorno and Rome Italy and Arlington Virginia. He received B.A. Anthropology from George Washington University and graduated Phi Beta Kappa in 1972. He has National Certification to teach grades K-6 and TEFL Certification, MA Ancient History University of Fundamental Knowledge, Oxford Network, St. Petersburg, Russian Federation 2008. Brian has been a lighting manufacturer’s representative at 16500 Inc, Lighting Systems Inc, Lightolier and Holophane from 1982 to present.
His previous experience was at Bell Helicopter International in employee relations, Iran Marine Industries Co as Assistant Manager and Imperial Iranian Air Force as an English language teacher and test designer. He also acted in two films in Iran for NIRT and RAI. He was a fine artist in Siena, Italy from 1969 to 1971. Brian is author of two nonfiction books on Iran: Tales From The Zirzameen 2008 and Shamshone; Sun of Assyria 2013 and of numerous interviews and articles for Iranian American publications, satellite TV stations, e-magazines and contributor to several poetry anthologies. He was investitured into the Knights of Saint John Hospitalier of Jerusalem in 2008. His son Alex is a student at CAA and his spouse Laura is in the CAA Booster Club.
